We have the ability to do repair of the boards for the 9490. The first board repaired is 308967611 RSI PCB. The process will repair any of the PCB’s in the 9490 as far as we know. We welcome Dean Wyant to the team of Pinetree. He comes to us from Storagetek after 27.5 years of working with various departments as a tech. He spent 21 years in the tape division of STK before operations were moved to Mexico and Hungary. His latest assignment was in 9840/9940 engineering lab. He has a broad knowledge base to provide repairs to the various Storagetek tape products. He will focus on the repairs of the Storage Technology 9840 and 9940 tape units. His knowledge will be used when repairing the other tape products when needed.
